Tropical Green Juice

In the heat of the summer, there is nothing better than a cool, refreshing green juice. This hydrating glass of healthfulness has tropical notes due to the addition of kiwi. The banana lends a nice creaminess and the cucumber and romaine lettuce provide plenty of hydrating power. The chia seeds provide loads of health benefits. This simple juice can be easily prepared anytime you need a mid-afternoon boost!



Hydrating Green Smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 2 kiwis, peeled
- 1 frozen banana, sliced
- ½ cucumber
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 handfuls of baby spinach
- ½ head Romaine lettuce
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a Vitamix or high-powered blender and blend on high speed for 2 minutes until completely smooth and frothy. Serve immediately.
